| | That's not to say it doesn't look great fun, with the next-generation allowing Infinity Ward to dial up the sensory assault to almost ludicrous levels. Compared to Battlefield 4's rather staid attempt at skewed authenticity in its single-player, Call of Duty continues to embrace over-the-top silliness. One section showed a squad of Ghosts on the skyscraper rooftops of Venezuela on 'Federation Day', fireworks exploding in the sky, screams of a partying mob down below. The ghosts fire line launchers to cross to another tower, rappelling down the windows, sweeping left and right to pop enemies through the glass without ever being seen. Then they blow the building up, racing to escape the skyscraper as it literally falls down around them. |
