The Court of Appeal ruled that the terms of Clarke's SOPO were "wider than necessary", particularly that a blanket ban on Clarke using the internet was "wrong".

I'm sceptical about the impact of anti-Tory tactical voting on the election result. For another, it's far from clear that anti-Tory voters would know whom to vote for even if they were inclined to vote tactically. What if some Labour supporters in LAB-CON marginals vote Lib Dem in the mistaken belief that by doing so they're more likely to defeat the Conservative candidate? The same goes for anti-Tory Lib Dems, who may mistakenly vote Labour in LIB-CON marginals. If that happens, the tactical votes of the anti-Tories would cancel each other out.
